Skin Care Treatment for oily skin?
Ok well I was wondering what skin care treatment you find that works the best for breakouts, whiteheads, oily, and red skin? I’ve been using proactive, but that just makes my skin more red. I’ve tried the past three products that they’ve came out with, and even the newest one still doesn’t help me that much. Sadly the cheap easy products don’t work that good for me either. Right now price does not matter for me so I was just wondering what products you find that work best for you, if your skin is similar to mine in some way. I’ve been debating between Clinque and Skin ID. Thank you soooo much in advance! ![]()
Sorry, I did not mean whiteheads. What I meant to say was white bumps. Sorry!
clinique 3 step skincare if u have mild acne. if u have severe acne id go with clinque acne system
Oily skin treatment/care?
I have oily skin and i was wondering if there was any way to change it. (skin care products etc.)
The amount of oil you skin produces is determined by your hormones, so you won’t change that with anything you put on your face. However you can make your face feel refreshed and look less oily with the right products. I recommend:
CLEANSER
Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing Cleanser OR
Paula’s Choice One Step Cleanser Normal to Oily/Combination Skin
EXFOLIANT (this one is to be used after washing face, like a toner)
Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid
MOISTURIZER
Only use a moisturizer if your skin has dry areas; only put it on your dry areas. Choose an oil-free moisturizer. I like Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel.
I live in the UK but I order Paula’s Choice from the US because I love it so much. Check out her site: www.paulaschoice.com for more info about product regimes for oily skin. For independent consumer advice on products try: makeupalley.com.
Oh, and drinking plenty of water and eating well (fruit, veg, fresh fish, etc) will help improve the health and therefore the look of your skin. Avoid: fizzy, sugary drinks; too many sweets, cakes, cookies; too much fried food. There is info on the net about blood sugar fluctuations causing acne, partly through increased sebum (oil) production in the skin.
