Review: Clinique 3 Step Skin Care System (Type III, Normal to Oily Skin)

Products Featured:
Step One: Clinique Liquid Facial Soap (I use oily skin formula)
Step Two: Clarifying Lotion (I use type III for normal to oily skin, its pink)
Step Three: Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel with Pump

I absolutely love the three step skin care system from Clinique. Its easy, and fairly affordable. I recommend purchasing all three steps with a pump, it makes it SO much easier to apply! The clarifying lotion pump can be a bit tricky to find (it typically comes only in a set during the Holidays or Summer) so keep your eyes peeled!

    I haven’t had this …
I haven’t had this experience with the 3 step, but I don’t have acne prone skin. However, I have heard that its natural for your skin to break out when you first switch over to a new skin care line. As long as your acne doesn’t persist I would say don’t worry about it. I have heard that zits are a result of dirt coming to the surface. Hope this helps!

    If you are dry …
If you are dry combo skin make sure you buy the Step II, not III. You’ll need the extra moisture!

    Thanks! I trust …
Thanks! I trust your opinion already and I would feel comfortable purchasing this product now even on my tight budget- I have dry combo skin so I really need a good skin care regime to be able to wear make up without looking flaky being I am in my 30s now cheaper moisturizers do not always do enough.

    Yes! Sorry if I …
Yes! Sorry if I forgot to mention that. I usually put a pump in my hands and mix with with water and use on the whole face. Or you can wet your face first and then put the cleanser on. Its just like any other cleanser. Its sort of personal preference how you like to lather etc.
